best thing to do is make a doctor’s appointment. For you’ll need a recipe. If
you take the first pill on the first day of your period you are protected against
pregnancy from
the start. If you start later, you need a back-up method for the first week(s).
The pill protects you against pregnancy, but not against STD’s.
So if you or your lover ever had unsafe sex in the past, you should also use condoms.
This is called ‘Double
Dutch’. If you never had unsafe sex before and you’ll use only birth control
pills, accuracy is asked for. The pill alone is not 100% safe. Of 100 girls using
it for a year 2 or 3 will become pregnant. This normally happens because they
make mistake or are too careless. So read this
