lower risk of ovarian and uterine cancer.
Some disadvantages:
You
have to think about it every day.
They
do not protect you against STD’s.
There
might be side effects, like headaches, nausea (the first month), gain or loss
of weight, depression, decrease in sex
drive, spotting and tender breasts.
(Side effects sometimes disappear when you use a different brand).
You
need a prescription.
Slightly
increased risk of liver tumors, breast cancer, heart
attack, stroke and blood clots.
